The food was great. I got the box with 5 pc trout, fries, and slaw. It tasted really good and fresh. They said their fish are caught fresh. The service was great. The woman who took my order was extremely nice. It was a little hot out, so I wish there was some shade to sit under. Otherwise, I really recommend them. Great food.

Great spot to enjoy whitefish and lake trout. The fries were thick cut with a nice crunch on the outside. Prices were very reasonable. The whitefish fillets we got were thick and meaty. Seating is limited to the 3 picnic tables in the parking lot. Fish was better than what we had in a restaurant 2 nights before for half the cost!

We went out for the Pictured Rocks cruise and were told this was the best white fish in the city and I would 100% agree with that. A little ways out of town but this place is a hidden gem. We ordered white fish dip and two five piece white fish baskets. There was a sign on the window saying they only take cash but their card reader was working yesterday when we came! We had to wait about 5-10 minutes because they had to grab more fish from the dock. Totally worth the wait! The white fish dip was the best I’ve had in all the summers we’ve visited Michigan and the fried pita that came with it to dip was super warm and delicious. There is a little fridge you can buy some coke products and water. The baskets were also incredible, fresh and hot! Best white fish we’ve had and the sauce, fries & coleslaw were all perfect additives! Everyone was super kind and kept us up to date on if they were getting more fish. We sat on picnic tables next to the food truck and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We went around 1500 and there was a decent line after we got there so I would guess this place stays busy! We will 100% be back here!

After spending the weekend camping at Grand National Island, my friend and I were looking for a great place to eat, fish specifically. We found this place and left with a great impression. Sadly they did not have Lake Superior trout, but the white fried fish was very delicious, and the fires too. I loved the sauces and Coleslaw too. 10/10

It is a truck. And oddly fantastic food comes out of it. We had the Captain's basket. Both kinds of fish were great. I also appreciated the wooden disposable forks and thin cardboard boxes for food instead of foam or plastic coated stuff. Note that this is a 30 second walk from the kayaking place just north of it. When you finish kayaking, don't move your car -- just walk over and get fish and fries.

The fish here is amazing. It was the freshest fish I’ve had in the UP and the best fish basket. I ate lunch here and the prices are good and the portions are big. They even let me eat my lunch on the dock. This place is legit. Gordon Ramsey had eaten there as well. It’s tucked away on a small side street right on the lake. They are connected to Matsons Fisheries and not only provide traditional fresh and smoked fish but also his unique blend of ingredients to their smoked fish dip and smoked fish sausage, and fish and chips. Lunch with a a nice view of lake.

Whitefish and trout are amazing. Portions are very generous. A must stop if you’re in the area. Be sure to walk to the shop below for fresh fish and smoked.

My partner and I stopped by yesterday after craving some local fish during our short trip to Munising and we didn't leave hungry! We ordered the 5-piece lake superior trout basket and it blew our minds! Great portions for the price. The tartar sauce went perfectly with the juicy, crispy fried fish and there were enough fries for both of us to share. The coleslaw was also top notch! I beg any people reading this to stop by if you're in the area, I even saved it on my map for future trips. (There was more food than pictured)
